This video was posted on FB the other day (thanks Emily), and I died laughing! If you live in Rhode Island or have been here, you'll get why it's so funny! I truly love the Rhode Island accent, and am getting quite good at imitating it! Take a moment to enjoy what makes RI so unique.

Baby, It's Cold Inside
Let's face it, I'm cheap. I don't want to spend money where I don't have to. Needless to say, we've been making a few sacrifices around the Taylor house.
I think I'll let Adam turn the heat on when it reaches 49 degrees in the house. It was 56 degrees the other day, and we survived, I think we can handle a few less degrees.
This is the current temperature reading in our house. |

All You Need is Love...And Fry Sauce
We had a fabulous Christmas this year. We spent Christmas Eve with our landlords, Frank and Sara and their family. It was a very Portuguese Christmas. We ate food (Sara made 3 complete, different meals), opened presents and ate some more. Then we Skyped with my family so we could be a part of the Schwartz festivities. It was fun to be there, without actually being there.
Christmas day, after church, Adam and I opened our gifts. It was a good time, we got exactly what we wanted!
Adam's parents helped to make my Christmas miracle come true, by sending me 2 bottles of fry sauce. I couldn't have been happier! (It really doesn't take a whole lot to make me happy, if you really know what I love). Thank you Mike and Sharon a million times over!
Now on to New Year's Eve celebrations! We were fortunate enough to receive an invite to Chris and Cassie's house for NYE. It was low key and perfect! We played games, ate food, chatted, and played with Jak (adorable husky). It was the perfect way to ring in the New Year! Thanks guys!
2012s going to be a great year, I can feel it in my bones!!

Do you love my 80s sweater I found at Salvation Army as much as I do? |
