Having Some Fun!

We've been spending lots of time at the Newport mansions. We've found some new favorites in the "tiny" mansions.

Last week we experienced the "servant life tour" where you go behind the scenes at The Elms. It was pretty amazing! I recommend it to anyone who's going to tour the mansions. At the end they take you to see the view from the top of The Elms. Sadly, the servants couldn't see the view due to the 7 foot wall blocking/hiding the servants quarters.

In other exciting news, my sister Laura came for a visit a few weeks back. We did the usual "first time to RI" tour. Boston, Newport Mansions, Beavertail Lighthouse,Water Fire, Martha's Vineyard, etc.

 It was such a fun time, minus the few mishaps along the way. Who's coming to visit next??

Life, Lately

This is what has been happening in the life of Taylor.

Our friends from Utah, Jenna and Justin Potter, made a quick trip to RI for the Labor Day weekend. We made a few quick trips around Boston, went to the beach, Water Fire, Beaver Tail Lighthouse and the Newport Mansions. It was great to see them for a few days.

Next, Adam is back to school, yeah for year 2!

We've been trying to soak up every last beach day before fall hits. We braved the dark storm clouds, to be blessed with a very happy, sunny beach day!

Finally, I found a one-footed seagull friend who I gave my entire bag of potato chips to. After that, he just hung around waiting for more hand outs. I love seagulls. P.S. he ate the chips right from my hand!
