Baby Shower Fun!

My cute friends were amazing and hosted a baby shower for me and my little guy!

Rebecca, me, Sarita and Cassie
Everyone decorated onesies for my soon to be baby! They were really cute!

Shauna and I unknowingly matched for the occasion
One of my cute YW Sarai, she was extremely helpful!
My pseudo nieces Rachel and Kate (they are Adam's cousins girls)

There was delicious food, and cute decorations! It was absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better shower! Thank you ladies for hosting, you're the best!

To round out this post, my most recent belly shot for all those that enjoy seeing me grow and grow!

All Grown Up!

A few exciting things have happened in the Taylor family recently.

Let's start with a visit from Adam's family. We were privileged to have Adam's parents, brother, sister-in-law and niece and nephew visit us over Memorial Day weekend.

**Side note, Adam's mom had, had knee surgery less than a week before their trip to RI. Let's just say, she was an absolute trooper while she was here. I don't know if I would have been**

We took them to the always lovely Beavertail Lighthouse.

Finally made our way to the Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT.

Next, we had the event that everyone (especially Adam) had been praying for, for a very long time.
Adam's GRADUATION!!!!
As all of the graduates were walking in to the triumphant music, I started to cry and couldn't stop! I was so happy that all of Adam's hard work had finally paid off! I was seriously so proud of him!

To top off all of the graduation and family excitement, Adam is employed! He presently works at Boston Harbor Hotel in Boston, MA as a pastry cook!
For the time being, it's only seasonal, but there is a high possibility it will become a permanent position.
He's working second shift (3 pm-11 pm) so that's an adjustment for me. I miss having Adam home to hang out with after work. I guess I should work on my independence. He takes the commuter rail to Boston which so far, seems to be working well for him.

To wrap up this amazing post, I will leave you with Adam's 32nd birthday celebration.
We spent the day in Newport taking a tour of Fort Adams.

The best (scariest) part of the tour was the underground tunnels. There was a section of tunnel that was only 5' tall, so I had to hunch over and walk through. After a while I became uncomfortable due to my ever growing belly and started to freak out a tiny bit because I wanted to stand up. Just when I thought all was lost, we got to the end of the 5' tunnel (sigh of relief)!
