Grapes & Figs

Over the last few days our landlords have harvested all of the grapes they grow. What are they going to do with the massive amounts of grape they harvested you ask? They are making wine. Although we won't be partaking in the wine, we will however be partaking of the delicious grapes. They have been giving us so many grapes these days we didn't know what to do with them all. So we got creative, and decided to make grape juice! We were able to squeeze out two glasses of juice, and wow! it was amazing! Sweet and tasty!

I am using a potato masher to juice the grapes

The final product
And last, but not least, Adam wanted me to share in his excitement. Along with plenty of grape vines, our landlords also have two fig trees. Adam loves figs, although he's never had a fresh fig until moving to Rhode Island. He shared his love for figs with our landlords, and now they will knock on the door to grace Adam with figs. He loves it! He mentioned today that he needs a food dehydrator so he can start dehydrating figs. What a silly guy!
